The Denis Lacy Hulbert Collection: Objets D'Art- an 18ct green gold strawberry dish, with wide gadrooned rim to a table engraved a central crest of the Piguenit family, a peahen above the banner 'Virtute Duce Comite Fortuna' (With virtue [or courage] as leader, with fortune as companion), widely attributed to Cicero. Fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1966, it measures 21.4cm diameter and weighs 548g. Sold for £40,000.
