About this Department

The Interiors Department handles British, European furniture and Fine Art from the 16th century to the 1970’s. We see a wide array of material of all values from £50 upto £50000, The department’s expertise and knowledge encompasses items from English vernacular oak furniture, fine Georgian, Regency and Victorian to more modern artists such as Peter Scott Britains leading naturalist, ornithologist and wildlife artist and Mary Fedden one of the most desirable artists of her genre. Highlights include an Edward Schnabel Oil on Canvas which sold for £20000, a Peter Scott oil of  Mallards in a Yellow Sky £4000 and a stunning Mary Fedden watercolour of children and butterflies £7000.
